The Apostles Food Bank run by Church of the Apostles UCC provides essential meals for numerous individuals and families annually.

Let’s come together to provide essential Food for the Needy within our community!

We are always seeking donations for our food bank to help provide essential items to hundreds of individuals and families. Our current needs include cold cereal, potatoes (dry or canned), mac ‘n cheese, tuna or hamburger helpers, cookie and cake mixes, and various canned items such as tuna, fruits, vegetables, soups, and meats.

Additionally, we are in need of personal care items like laundry detergent, women’s & men’s hygiene items, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

Your financial contributions are also greatly appreciated and help us extend our reach even further. Physical donations can be brought to our church office during office hours (Monday-Thursday 9A-1P) or drop them in the Small Caring Cart located in the Coat Room on Sunday mornings.

Accessing Assistance from our Food Bank

If you find yourself in need of food or household essentials, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. You can schedule an appointment by calling the church office at (717) 392-5718 during our office hours of 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Please ensure you have a valid form of identification with you when you visit. It’s important to note that our food bank operates as an emergency service, and we kindly ask individuals to wait for a minimum of six months between uses. Your understanding and cooperation help us serve our community more effectively.
