Choir Retreat
The 2016 Choir Retreat will be held on Saturday, August 20 at the home of Betsy Bischoff from 9 am to 12 pm. This is a great opportunity for each current choir member to bring along someone who is interested in becoming a choir member. Please attempt to find at least one person to bring to the retreat. This may be someone who is potentially a new church member or a current member seeking a way to enhance his or her Sunday worship. In addition, a corn roast, prepared by the Bischoffs, will follow all of Saturday’s events! Our present choir is a dedicated group who like to sing and have fun. We can always use more voices, so please consider joining us at the retreat.  If you have any questions, please see Nathan or Cindy. There is a sign-up list posted in the choir room.

Wishing Well
For the next several months, the Wishing Well will be collecting much-needed supplies for our own Apostles Assistance Fund. Pastor Kuhn has been getting many requests from people for personal care and home care supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and other similar items. In early August, there will be a poster hanging in the Narthex on the Outreach bulletin board and another one above the Wishing Well with ideas for needed supplies. Please take a note paper and donate that item to the Apostles Assistance Fund through the Wishing Well ministry. We will collect up until our holiday ministry starts in November. Thank you so much for your continued generous support of our Outreach ministries. If you have any questions, please see Jane McCartney.

Church Flower Beds
Help is needed to maintain the growing areas around our church building to ensure that we continue to look alive and growing as a congregation. Please contact Marty Holmes with your interest in caring for one of the areas.

Youth Fundraiser Part II: Visit The Wood Lot
The trip to The Wood Lot on June 11—the fundraiser for our youth—was a huge, fun success. However, there was a list of those who could not attend that date. The youth do not want to disappoint anyone, so a second open house and tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 9th from 1 pm-3 pm. This time, private vehicles are the way to go. Refreshments will be served again—especially the kids’ homemade cookies!

If you have not signed up, or don’t have directions, contact Andy Appel. If this date still doesn’t work for you, tell Andy and he’ll try to accommodate.

All proceeds are for the youth group’s trip this July. We appreciate your generosity!
