Bring your blankets, chairs, and bring a friend!

Popcorn, pretzels, and drinks will be provided.

Looking for a picturesque setting for your next gathering?

Our Schellenberger Pavilion, nestled in the heart of Rader Park, offers an ideal space for church picnics, birthday celebrations, family reunions, and more!

With seating for up to 80 guests, our pavilion features a spacious covered roof, 10 picnic tables, and access to two propane grills (propane not included). Adjacent to the pavilion, a playground adds to the fun for children. During the summer, a porta-potty is also available for park visitors’ convenience. To reserve this charming venue for your event, simply complete our facility use paperwork and submit it via email, mail, or drop-off during office hours (Monday-Thursday, 9 AM-1 PM).

Bring your little ones to enjoy Wacky Wednesdays at Church of the Apostles!

Wacky Wednesdays is a reading program that offers a story, an activity, and a snack for children in the following age groupings:

Preschool through Kindergarten and 1st through 3rd Grade

The theme for this year is “Earth Day is Everyday.”
July 3—The Pollinators:  Bees, Birds and Butterflies
July 10—Don’t Let Them Disappear:  Endangered Animals
July 17—Trash the Trash:  Clean Earth
July 24—What Can You Do?  Clean Water Starts with You!
July 31—Become an Earth Warrior

All kids between the ages of four years through 5^th grade are invited to come learn wonderful Bible
stories, participate in games, and create crafts while learning about faith and stewardship.

Time:         6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Fee:            $5.00 to help cover the cost of supplies

Family Picnic Nights

When? Wednesdays, June 20, July 18 & August 15 from 5:15 pm – 7:00 pm

All are welcome to join us for a family-style picnic at the Pavilion in Rader Park. Hot dogs, buns, and drinks will be provided. We ask that each family bring one dish to share. Come for fun and fellowship!
