Wacky Wednesday
Wacky Wednesday, a summer reading program for kids preschool age through third grade, will be held Wednesdays from June 29th-August 3rd. Children will meet in Rader Park from 10 am—11:15 am to enjoy a story, an activity, and a snack. This year the theme is “How Does Your Garden Grow?” Pre-registration is not required, however, we do request caregivers attend with the children. Please contact Doris Robb at (717) 393-7788 for more information.

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed to help with this year’s Wacky Wednesday program. We specifically need volunteers to read to the children, coordinate crafts and activities, and to provide snacks. An electronic sign-up sheet is listed on The City where you can simply click the check box next to the task you would like to sign up for. Your name will be then be automatically assigned to it. If you have any questions, please contact Doris Robb at (717) 393-7788 or via email at robbd7788@gmail.com.

Parish Life—Help Needed
The Parish Life Commission is in need of volunteers to help in several areas, including transportation for members to doctor appointments, washing table cloths after funerals, providing snacks for support groups, helping at the Welcome Center on Sundays, etc. If you are able to volunteer (often or occasionally), please contact Clara Kosmela at (717) 569-9960.

Youth Fundraiser Part II: Visit The Wood Lot
The trip to The Wood Lot on June 11—the fundraiser for our youth—was a huge, fun success. However, there was a list of those who could not attend that date. The youth do not want to disappoint anyone, so a second open house and tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 9th from 1 pm-3 pm. This time, private vehicles are the way to go. Refreshments will be served again—especially the kids’ homemade cookies!

If you have not signed up, or don’t have directions, contact Andy Appel at (717) 490-0093; or email him at andyappel@epix.net. If this date still doesn’t work for you, tell Andy and he’ll try to accommodate.

All proceeds are for the youth group’s trip this July. We appreciate your generosity!
