School Furnishings for Honduras
On Thursday, June 16 at 4:30 pm, volunteers are needed to prep school furniture—a donation from the Penn Manor School District to C.A.R.E.—for shipment to Honduras.  Please visit the C.A.R.E. Facebook page for details about what tools are needed. However, help is needed even without the use of tools!  A meal at the Conestoga Wagon Restaurant after we’re done could be fun as well.

On Saturday, June 18 at 8 am, we will start loading the furniture into two shipping containers. Again, go to C.A.R.E.’s Facebook page for details. Strong backs are suggested, although there are some jobs for others as well. The Conestoga Wagon opens at 6 am and has great breakfasts!

If you have any questions, please contact Andy Appel at (717) 490-0093, or via email at  andyappel@epix.net. About 500 school children in Honduras thank you!

Seeds of Hope Garden
The raspberries and blackberries are growing in the Seeds of Hope Garden. If you would like to freeze them, or make jam, etc., please contact Carol Nielsen at (717) 391-2815 or via email at caroln39@yahoo.com. The suggested price is $5 per quart.
