Join Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake to explore Rader Park at Church of the Apostles UCC and see how this community of faith is caring for our watershed and creating habitat along Brubaker Run!
Congregations across Lancaster County have made commitments to serve as faithful, responsible stewards of our shared, sacred waterways and the lands they nourish. Along Brubaker Run, Church of the Apostles tends a park with access to creek, a riparian buffer, native gardens, and a lovely outdoor worship space; here, they welcome members of the community to become closer to nature and to reflect on the importance of stewarding our waterways, while enjoying the sites and sounds of the local bird and animal-life. We hope you will come and see what natural wonders this sacred greenspace has to share!
