Join us for Mocktails & Meaning on May 15th at 6:30 PM in the Narthex at Church of the Apostles UCC, featuring Scott M. Coley, author of Ministers of Propaganda and lecturer in philosophy at Mount St. Mary’s University. His talk, “Christofascism: How It Works and How to Resist It,” will explore the hierarchies of race, class, and gender at the heart of this ideology, how it shapes voting behavior, and how Christian theology offers tools for resistance.
As always, we’ll enjoy a signature mocktail while we gather—this month’s drink is a refreshing Watermelon Agua Fresca.
