There are choirs made up of both adults and children. New members are welcome at any time in the choirs at Church of the Apostles. You may speak to the Director of Music or to the director of the choir you wish to join for further information.

The choirs provide music leadership for corporate worship from September through the beginning of June. Special services for which the choirs provide music include the Thanksgiving Eve service, the Christmas Eve services, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week services.

Adult Choirs

The Apostles Choir provides music leadership for worship services each Sunday. This Choir presents concerts and special programs throughout the year. Nathan Sheffer is the Director of Adult Choirs and Instrumental Music. Rehearsal are held on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM in the Choir Room.

Children’s Choirs

Sounds for the Soul Episode 51 Featuring the Apostles Childrens Choir

The Children’s Choir is for children ages 3 through 4th grade and beginning singers. It participates in special programs throughout the year, and occasionally in worship. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in Rm. 303 from 6:00 – 6:30 PM.

Handbell Choirs for Youth and Adults

Apostles Bells is a performance handbell choir for adults. It participates regularly in worship leadership in worship services and performs in special programs throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary. The Director is Nate Sheffer.
