“While Pastor Kathy and Church of the Apostles have supported my family and me in many ways, my husband and I are most grateful for the nurturing of our children. My daughter just completed Confirmation and is a fully-engaged member of the church. My son is enthusiastic about coming to church and has fun here while also growing spiritually.”

“I hope to contribute to this great church with the things that make me, me, like caring for those who are in need. Maybe this was what God really wants me to bring to the church.”

“My passion in life is music. The Apostles Academy of Arts and Sciences provides musical lessons and scholarships in every category of instrumentation, fine arts, musical performances through recitals and the Crown Concert Series, and adult education through Heritage and Horizons serving the Lancaster community at large. My hope is that through the Academy, we will spread music to people young and old.”

“I value the family-centered activities that Church of Apostles provides. The lessons that my children, 4 and 6, learn through activities like serving meals at Crispus Attucks are invaluable in emphasizing the way that we work together as a family, and a church community, to help others.”

“In our Seeds of Hope Garden we raise an acre and a half of produce and donate it to local agencies that distribute food to the hungry. It is so rewarding for us to be out in the sunshine and feel the dirt in our hands and experience the passion we all feel knowing our work is feeding those who need it most. Our passion for feeding the hungry attracts members and neighbors alike and it’s a celebration when another person joins our group of “farmers” and they too experience the joy in growing something and the humility of helping another person.”

“After growing up in Church of the Apostles, I knew when I started my own family that I wanted the same experience for my kids. The members of Church of the Apostles bring true meaning to the term “church family”. I can’t wait for my boys to be in the children’s choir, and take advantage of all the wonderful programs available to them.”
